Sykhiv — the largest residential district of Lviv — will soon have a new modern shopping center, “GREAT”, which promises to become not just a place for shopping but an important hub for the district’s daily life. The opening is scheduled for November 2025. This will be one of the largest commercial investments in Sykhiv in recent years — a retail space of over 9,000 m² will bring together a variety of tenants, modern services, and a comfortable environment for residents under one roof.
The anchor tenant of the mall will be “Epicenter Food&Home” — a new format appearing in Lviv for the first time. On an area of 3,800 m², shoppers will find a wide selection of food products, home goods, décor, and household items. This concept will differ significantly from traditional “Epicenter” stores, with a stronger focus on customers’ everyday needs.

This format is especially relevant for Sykhiv — Lviv’s largest residential district, which is actively developing and in need of new, modern commercial solutions. Residents will no longer have to travel to other parts of the city to purchase quality goods or access popular services. Additionally, both ground-level and underground parking will be located next to the shopping complex, offering a convenient advantage for those arriving by car.

In addition to “Epicenter Food&Home,” the mall’s tenants will include: Allo (gadgets and home electronics), Blisk (cosmetics and personal care), Zolota Krayina and Sribna Krayina (jewelry stores), Lova Lova (beauty store), and other brands already preparing for their “almost open” moment. Shortly after the opening of the 1st and 2nd floors, new service tenants are expected to open on the 3rd floor: Shoco (confectionery & café), Opium (gym), Maska Green (beauty space). The accessible rooftop, which is part of the third floor, will serve as an additional recreational area for GREAT’s visitors and the residents of the nearby housing complex.
“We aim to create a space that combines convenience, modernity, and accessibility. The opening of the GREAT shopping center in Sykhiv is an important step for the development of a rapidly growing district that needs high-quality infrastructure for life and leisure,” emphasizes Olena Yatsenko, CEO of Avalon Asset Management.

The opening of the GREAT shopping center is significant for both Sykhiv and Lviv as a whole. A district with more than 170,000 residents has long lacked modern retail infrastructure. The new mall will not only meet shopping needs but also create additional jobs, attract local entrepreneurs, and contribute to the district’s economic development.
For residents of Lviv, GREAT will become an example of a modern urban format — a shopping center that integrates into the everyday life of the district rather than simply functioning as a place to shop.
